Theater in the Open is pleased to announce that our Spring, Summer, and Autumn theatrical productions "in the open" at Maudslay State Park will now be offered free to the public.
"Theater in the Open has sought to provide quality, affordable art to our community for the past 30 years," Artistic Director Edward Speck said.
This next phase of the Theater's development will rely on the success of our two major fundraisers, Maudslay is Haunted and the Spring Thaw; patronage at our annual holiday show at the Firehouse Center for the Arts; and generous support from the Department of Conservation and Recreation and local Cultural Councils.
By offering our programming "in the open" free of charge, we hope to reach more individuals in our community as audience members, students, volunteers, and sponsors.
