  • Christian Donnerson | Rosalind

    Boston-based actor, director, and movement artist originally from Dallas, Texas. BFA, Theatre Arts, Boston University. Her work centers on transformative storytelling that fosters connection, provokes reflection, and honors the complexity of lived experience. As the culture trends toward aesthetic and narrative uniformity, she remains committed to advancing diverse, nuanced storytelling that reflects the full breadth of human experience. Recent credits include Emilia(Emilia 3), Macbeth (Witch 3 & Lennox), and Marcus; or the Secret of Sweet(Elegua/Shun).

  • Isabela Garcia | Celia

    Isabela is a 22 year old recent Boston Conservatory Musical Theater graduate. She is so excited to join the company of Theater in The Open this summer! She has starred in productions of Woman on Fire and Natasha, Pierre & The Great Comet of 1812, and most importantly, the As You Like It by Shaina Taub, so her love for this play has been growing for a while. Music is her first love, with violin as her main instrument and guitar as a tool for songwriting, and is so excited to bring her creative side into this process. See you in the open!

  • Simon Huynh | Orlando

    Simon Huynh (he/him) is a queer actor/theatre artist from Littleton, Massachusetts. He recently graduated from American University with his BA in Theater Performance and Political Science, and he is so excited to be back home for the summer! Previous credits at American University include 9 to 5 The Musical, Spring Awakening, and Daughters of Leda. This is his first time performing with Theater in the Open, and he hopes it won't be his last. Outside of theatre and film, Simon loves cooking, reading horror novels, and hanging out with his two cats, Stewie and Bonnie. A big thanks to friends and family for their support, as well as to everyone involved in As You Like It!

  • Mary Mahoney | Phoebe/Amyens

    Mary Mahoney(she/her) is so excited to be making her Theater in the Open debut! Regional credits include Sister Mary Robert in “Sister Act” (Seacoast Repertory Theater), Tailor/Others in “The Taming of the Shrew” (Actors’ Shakespeare Program), and Helena/Hermia U/S in “A Midsummer Night's Dream" (Sh!tfaced Shakespeare). Other favorite credits include Juliet in “Romeo and Juliet” and Delores Dante in “Working: A Musical” (both at Suffolk University). Thank you to her mom for always being her biggest supporter!   • Jack Norton | Silvius/Charles the Wrestler

    Jack has been performing and directing for over ten years, but this is his first show with Theater in the Open! In college, he served as Music Director for Once Upon A Time: A Broadway Revue, and The World’s a Stage Revue (F&M Players, Lancaster, PA). As an actor, Jack most recently appeared in The Addams Family (Gomez), and Legally Blonde (Prof. Callahan) with the F&M Players. Past credits include: 1776 (John Adams); Guys and Dolls (Sky Masterson); Urinetown (Bobby Strong); Young Frankenstein (Igor); and Narnia: the Musical (Aslan). As a tenor, he sang Missa Gaia (Paul Winter’s Earth Mass) with Cantemus in Newburyport, and has also been the director of two a cappella groups. Jack currently teaches Spanish and directs musical theater at The Governor’s Academy. As is probably visible whenever he’s acting, the stage (whether indoor or outdoor) is his happy place.

  • Olivia Sowell | Touchstone

    Born and raised in New England, Olivia Sowell is thrilled to step into the role of Touchstone/Clown in this production of As You Like It. They’ve trained at the University of New Hampshire, Regent’s College in London, and the New York Conservatory, developing a deep love for classical theatre and character work. Recent credits include Jo in The Legend of Georgia McBride, the Nurse in R&J (Elsewhere Shakespeare), Friar Lawrence in R&J (TITO), Maria/Marge in Mr. Burns: A Post-Electric Play(RGC), and Schlesinger in Network (Umbrella). Few things bring them more joy than a good Shakespeare in the Park experience, and they’re honored to share in that joy with this audience.  Endless gratitude to the cast, crew, Mom and Dad, and everyone who supports local theatre.   • Jimmy Stewart | Jacques

    Jimmy is thrilled to be working with Theatre in the Open on As You Like It. Favorite past Shakespeare roles include Lysander in A Midsummer Night's Dream, Dogberry in Much Ado About Nothing, and Sebastian in Twelfth Night. Jimmy is thankful for the support of his friends, family, and his girlfriend Kate. Thank you for supporting the arts!

  • Bridget Saunders | Oliver de Boys

    Bridget Saunders (Oliver) is an actor, singer, and dancer hailing from central Maine. She is a graduate of Salem State University with a BFA in Theatre Performance and a minor in French. Bridget is super pumped to be performing in her first Shakespeare since college! Recent credits include Little Women, The Broadway Musical and The Great Gatsby, An American Musical (Marblehead Little Theatre); A Christmas Carol: the Musical and Salem Sisters Spooktacular (Emerald City Theatrical); The Infinite Moment of Now (Larcom Theatre); and The Suppliant Women (Apollinaire Theatre Company).   • Corrie Owens-Beauchesne | Corin/First Lord of Senior

    Corrie is a graduate of Shakespeare & Company’s month-long intensive in Lenox, Massachusetts. She also recently graduated from Hampshire College, earning her BA in Stage Acting and Theatre Education, where she focused on applied theatre techniques, theatre of the oppressed, and children’s rights. Recent credits include Belle, Caroline, Fred’s Wife, and Mrs. Dilber in A Christmas Carol at the Player’s Ring, Jackie and Yellow Bile in Doctor Doctor by Catherine Stewart at the Player’s Ring, as well as Viola and the Girl Who Found Fear in Generations at New Hampshire Theatre Project. She hopes you enjoy the show!

  • Juliette DePasqua

    Juliette DePasqua | Le Beau/First Lord of Frederick

    Jules DePasqua is so excited to be a part of As You Like It this year! Heading into high-school, her only goal is to be more of a goof than the year before, and get good grades if there is time. She is an avid dancer and bookworm, and loves any chance she gets to create. Past credits include Newsies, Bye Bye Birdie, and A Christmas Carol Panto, as well as dancing with Joppa Dance Co. She would like to thank her stinky brothers and slightly less stinky parents for always supporting her :)

  • Lydia Charlotte Brendel | Adam/Second Brother

    Lydia Charlotte Brendel is a North Shore based actor, director, and stage manager known for co-founding Castle Hill Productions in Ipswich, MA. She is a graduate of AMDA’s New York conservatory program and Los Angeles BFA program. Backstage credits include International Thespian Society Award Nominee The Door (Director), Massachusetts Thespian Society Award winner Tracks, (Co-Director), Castle Hill Productions Romeo and Juliet (Co-Director) and Arcadia (Props Manager), Boutcher Theater Company’s Red (Stage Manager), and most recently, Player’s Ring Theater’s A Funny Thing… (Stage Manager). Onstage credits include Twelfth Night (Olivia), The Mousetrap (Leslie Casewell), Sense and Sensibility (Lucy Steele), A Bold Stroke for a Husband (Victoria), Twelfth Night (Antonio), Romeo and Juliet (Juliet), and most recently performed in Elsewhere Shakespeare’s festival as Hermia/Quince in A Midsummer Night’s Dream and as Caesar in Julius Caesar.

  • Edward Speck | Duke Frederick/Duke Senior

    Edward F. Speck has served as the Artistic Director of Theater in the Open since 2009. He has been seen in TITO shows for the past 25 years, including Metamorphoses, The Tempest, A Midsummer Night's Dream, Medea, and Much Ado About Nothing, and every Panto the theater has produced. He is a proud member of Exit Dance Theatre.

    Gwynnethe is a mother and artist from Newbury, MA. She creates and teaches with many companies/schools in the area, though she feels most at home when performing with TITO.
